Accessibility statement
Last reviewed: 5 August 2026
Our commitment
Portavi is committed to making this website and the Portavi product application accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
This statement is not a claim of conformance. It describes our target and the current, honest state of that work, including what has not yet been verified.
Scope
This statement covers this website (portavipmo.com) and the Portavi product application at app.portavipmo.com.
What we have done
As of 5 August 2026, in the Portavi product application:
- Interactive elements are implemented as real buttons and links, operable by keyboard
- Icon-only controls and form fields have accessible names
- Dialogs and popups close on Escape, trap focus while open, and return focus to the element that opened them
- A visible focus indicator is applied throughout the product
- Automated accessibility linting runs across the codebase and currently reports zero violations
- The design system's colour tokens have been audited against WCAG AA in both light and dark themes, and hardcoded one-off colours were spot-checked where they are used as text or icon colours. Issues found were fixed.
- The interface honours the operating system's reduced-motion setting, and motion can also be reduced manually in the app's accessibility settings.
This website follows the same practices: keyboard-operable navigation, a visible focus indicator, a skip-to-content link, and automated accessibility linting reporting zero violations.
Adjusting the interface
Portavi has an Accessibility section under Settings where you can reduce motion, increase contrast, and enlarge text. These settings adjust the interface beyond the standard it already meets; they are not required in order to use Portavi accessibly.
Known limitations
Automated tooling catches only part of what WCAG requires. We are stating plainly what has not yet been checked:
- No testing has been conducted with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver)
- Reflow behaviour at 200% and 400% browser zoom has not been verified
- Form error identification and correction guidance have not been audited against WCAG requirements
- The product's workspace hierarchy map is a pannable canvas — it is keyboard-operable, but complex to navigate without sight
- The product has scaffolding for Arabic and right-to-left layout, but most interface text is still English-only
